Payments, credit notes, and reminders
Record what came in, correct an invoice with a credit note, chase what has not, close a balance without money, and send a client their statement.
Getting paid, and chasing what is not
Record each payment as it comes in, and the invoice’s status follows the money on its own. Overdue is worked out from the due date, never set by hand, and the owners and admins who want it get a morning email of what needs chasing.
An invoice takes its number when it is sent and keeps it: one issued in error is voided, and one that asked for too much is corrected by a credit note with a number of its own.
On the paid plans, and during the trial:
- An overdue invoice can remind the client at three steps past its due date.
- A balance short by tax deducted at source or a settlement discount can be closed with a reason.
- Any client’s statement downloads as a PDF.
